"In memory of Hermann Nitsch, Maximilian Davis has done 5 paintings on canvas and 10 works on paper. Each of the large-format paintings represent Nitsch as a portrait in the middle, while concentrated and intense thoughts on the left and right depict his entire artistic lifespan. The fine drawings illustrate a kind of abstract score. In the spirit of Nitsch, graph paper was used for this purpose."
